    Mission Trips
St. Peter’s organizes mission trips within the United States and, recently, beyond our borders. Trips are planned when there is enough interest in a particular effort, sometimes with other churches or organizations. Among other efforts, we have sent groups to help with the restoration of Katrina-ravaged areas of Mississippi and New Orleans. Expenses are paid by the missioners and out of mission fundraising efforts and the church mission budget.

    Recent Trips:

    Dominican Republic
Through the Episcopal Diocese of the Dominican Republic we helped build a school in Montellano and taught Vacation Bible School at the Episcopal church, Santa Eucharista, in Mosovi.

Dominican Republic Mission Trip June 2008 Blog

    Heifer International Summer Action Camp

Campers grouped by age (elementary, middle, and high school) learn through hands-on projects and service activities about world hunger and world development challenges and their roles as global citizens.

Rosebud Sioux Reservation (Tree of Life Ministries)

We have conducted building projects and summer bible school on the Reservation of the Rosebud Sioux in South Dakota in conjunction with St. George’s Episcopal Church of Fredericksburg, Virginia.
