St. Peter’s Love Quilt Project

    The most important part of the quilts is the creation of the art squares and their messages of love. Children who create these squares have the opportunity to learn about orphaned children and their need to be loved. Not only do children draw their expressions of love but they learn that all people no matter what their nationality, color of their skin, or economic level, deserve this basic human emotion.

    St. Peter’s needs help finding children interested in creating the artwork that depicts their messages of love to the orphan children. St. Peter’s will provide the fabric squares to children who will be creating the artwork along with an explanation about the importance of sharing our love with those who are less fortunate.  The drawings are drawn with pencil and then filled in with fabric markers.  Completed squares are returned to St. Peter’s and sent to a quilter for incorporation in a Love Quilt.
