    The Bible Challenge

The Diocese of Virginia is encouraging us all to consider joining the Bible Challenge.   This is a program that provides daily Scripture readings and accompanies them with meditations written by a wide variety of scholars and and thinkers.  By following this program the participants will read through the whole Bible in one year.  The Diocese of Virginia first began participating in the Bible Challenge in Pentecost, 2012, and is starting a new cohort on Monday, January 31st.  Perfect for New Year’s resolution-makers!

You can sign up and get further information here.  You do not have to sign up to participate–you can just download the reading schedule and visit the blog for the meditations, but it is envisioned that there will be some gatherings or other communal events to which you will be invited if you are signed up.
