      Lenten Programs! Mark Your Calendars

Lent begins on Wednesday, February 22 with Ash Wednesday. This year there will be a variety of Lenten programs for youth and adults.

On Tuesday evenings a Regional program will be offered for all parishes in Region III. More details of this program can be found in your February Key.

On Thursdays at 10:15 a.m. there will be a program offered focusing on selected short stories of Andre Dubus. For more information please contact The Rev. Ann Martens.

On Friday and Saturday mornings, there will be a program focusing on the book, The Little Book of Biblical Justice by Dr. Chris Marshall’s. On Fridays the group will meet at 9:15 a.m. and at 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays. Questions? Contact Jayne Shontell.

On Sunday evenings there will be an inter-generational program for ages 5 and older. The program will be based on The Wizard of Oz and will be an opportunity for children and adults (moms, dads, kids, grandparents etc.) to participate together. Questions? Contact the Rev. Ann Martens.

Emergency Winter Shelter Needs Your Help!

The Arlington County Emergency Winter Shelter needs help in gathering twin sheets, blankets and pillow cases. We will be collecting these items, which may be new or gently used and should be regular (not extra-long) size. There is a bin with a sign on it in the Narthex, so if you can pick something up at the store or rummage through your linen closet, that would be great! We will be collecting through February, but the sooner you can bring in your donations, the better. Thank you!
