    Sunday Mornings

Sunday mornings are busy at St. Peter’s, with Christian formation classes for adults and young people at 10 AM. There is also a staffed nursery available for infants and toddlers from 8:45 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to join us for coffee, tea, and doughnuts after all services.

In July and August, the Sunday schedule switches to two services at 8 (Rite I) and 10 (Rite II), with Sunday School and the choirs in recess for the summer (the 10 o’clock service includes organ and musical soloists).  A special schedule is also in effect at Christmas, with a “family” Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m. and services at 8 and 11 PM.  Additional services are offered on certain holidays during the year, including Thanksgiving.

    Taizé

A Taizé service offers a contemplative style of worship that features beautiful music, prayers, Scripture, and periods of silence. Held occasionally on a Sunday afternoon at 5:00, the service lasts about an hour.
