Children’s Chapel

Children’s Chapel is offered during the 10:15 AM service as a time for children to gather in their own sacred space, hear God’s word in ways they can understand, respond in prayer, and worship together.

Children begin by joining the congregation and leave at the Gospel procession. They return to their families at the Peace.

Parents are welcome to attend with their child, especially if it is your first time.

To participate, just come!

Children are invited to serve

At St. Peter’s the youth and children are not just the future of the church, they are the church, and we invite them to serve as leaders in age appropriate ways. We make bagged lunches for the hungry and cards for the homebound for Christmas. As they grow they are invited to join in leading worship as acolytes, readers, ushers, and even as preachers.

The Saint Peter’s Musical

At Saint Peter’s, children and youth also have opportunities to grow through musical theater. Our musicals invite young people to sing, act, build friendships, and share their gifts in a joyful community experience.

In 2024, Saint Peter’s presented Godspell Junior, continuing a tradition of parish musicals that has included productions like Narnia, Godspell, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. These productions bring children, youth, and adults together in creativity, faith, and fun.

In 2026, we are featuring the musical, The Life of the Party.
