What Sunday feels like

When you arrive, greeters can help you find your way. You will receive a bulletin with the service printed inside, and worship leaders will guide the congregation through the prayers, readings, music, sermon, and Communion.

There will be moments when the congregation stands, sits, sings, prays, and responds together. You are welcome to participate as much or as little as feels comfortable.

At the center of our worship is Holy Communion, where we receive Christ’s presence and are strengthened for life in the world. Everyone is welcome to receive Communion or a blessing.

What to Expect

Do I need to know the prayers or responses?
No. The bulletin will help you follow the service, and you can simply listen until you feel ready to join in.

What should I wear?
People wear dress clothes, jeans, and everything in between.

Can children come to worship?
Yes. Children are welcome in worship, including wiggly and noisy children. You may hear small voices, see little ones moving, or notice families stepping in and out as needed. We welcome that. Nursery care, Children’s Chapel, and Sunday School are also available.

Can I receive Communion?
Yes. Everyone is welcome to receive Communion or a blessing. You’ll find instructions in the bulletin.

Is the building accessible?
Yes. Accessible parking, a covered walkway, accessible entrances and restrooms, elevator access, hearing assistance, and gluten-free Communion are available. Please let us know if something specific would help you prepare for your visit.

What happens after worship?
After the 8:00 and 10:15 services, you are welcome to stay for coffee, donuts, conversation, and connection. Children often head off to the nature-based playground after worship.
