We’re sent out to serve.
From the beginning, God has chosen to be with us — in need, in suffering, in the ordinary places where people hurt. Following Jesus means going where God goes. At Saint Peter's, service is not a program. It is what happens when people who have been loved begin to love others in return.
Sent Out To Serve
On the night before he died, Jesus told his friends: "Love one another as I have loved you." That commandment is the reason we serve. Not out of obligation, not to earn anything, but because we have been met by a love that asks to be passed on.
Following Jesus draws us beyond ourselves — toward people, toward need, toward the world God refuses to abandon. Everyone has a next step in serving. We would love to help you find yours.

“We listen carefully for real needs, respond with compassion and practical help, and focus on empowering people so they regain agency and hope.”
Ministries & Partners
We serve alongside organizations already doing meaningful work in our community and around the world. These partnerships are built on trust, relationship, and shared commitment to dignity, justice, and hope.
“
God is willing to be with us, regardless of the cost. Are we willing to be with the God who has given everything to be with us?"
— from a sermon preached at Saint Peter's, Maundy Thursday 2025
You don’t have to do everything.
At Saint Peter’s, we begin serving together, one faithful step at a time. Show up once. Try something new. See where it leads.
