Our Campus

There are places where you arrive and immediately feel it—
your shoulders drop, your breathing slows, and something in you says, you can be here.

Our campus is that kind of place.

Five wooded acres.
Paths that wind.
Space to walk, to pray, to play, to rest.

This is not just where our buildings sit.
It is part of how we practice being the church.

A Place to Walk

Winding walking paths move gently through the woods, offering space to walk, to pray, to notice.

Along the St. Clare Arbor Trail, you’ll find trees marked by species—an invitation to pay attention to the living world around you. Some of these trees were planted as part of our memorial garden, each one carrying a story, a name, a life remembered and honored.

“Teach us to number our days,” the psalmist prays—
and here, we remember that we are part of something both rooted and growing.

A Place to Remember

Our memorial garden is woven into the landscape, not set apart from it.

Here, we remember those we love among trees that continue to grow and change with the seasons. What has been entrusted to the earth is not lost—it is held, transformed, and surrounded by life.

Jesus once said that a seed falls into the ground and rises into something new.

This garden lives inside that promise.

A Place to Pray

Tucked among the trees, the St. Francis Chapel offers a quiet place for prayer and outdoor worship.

Here, surrounded by creation, we remember that faith is not confined to walls. Sometimes we gather beneath a roof; sometimes beneath the open sky.

Nearby, an outdoor labyrinth invites a different kind of prayer—the slow, intentional journey inward and back out again.

“Be still, and know…”
Sometimes prayer begins with simply taking the next step.

A Place to Play

Children lead the way here.

Our nature-based playground is built into the landscape—wood, stone, and earth shaping spaces for climbing, imagining, and exploring. It’s a place where outdoor play is open-ended, creative, and grounded in the natural world.

We believe faith is formed not only in classrooms, but in muddy hands, shared laughter, and the freedom to explore.

“Let the little children come…”
—and here, they do.

A Place to Grow & Share

Our vegetable garden is part of the Plot Against Hunger initiative.

Here, we grow fresh produce that is donated to a local food pantry—sharing what the earth gives with neighbors in need. This community garden is one small way we participate in feeding others and caring for our wider community.

Those who tend it know: seeds, soil, sun, and time—
and the quiet miracle of enough.

A Place to Breathe

You are welcome here.

You are welcome to walk the wooded paths,
sit in the memorial garden, visit the St. Francis Chapel,
trace the outdoor labyrinth, or spend time in the garden.

Children are free to play.

You don’t have to be a member.
You don’t have to be certain about what you believe.

Come Walk the Grounds

Whether you come for worship, for a walk in the woods, or to explore our outdoor spaces, we hope you’ll find something here that stays with you.
