Musicals

At Saint Peter’s, our musical program gives children and youth a place to sing, act, create, and grow in confidence within a joyful, faith-filled community.

For many years, our parish musicals have brought together young performers, parents, and volunteers in a shared creative effort. Children and youth take the stage, while adults help bring the production to life through costumes, sets, backstage support, hospitality, and encouragement.

Now preparing: “The Life of the Party”

This year, fourteen children and youth are working together to bring the Life of the Party, a lively retelling of the story of Mary and Martha, production to life. We are grateful for the energy, creativity, and support that make this ministry possible.

A Tradition of Musicals

One of the biggest St. Peter’s projects has been our amazing biennial parish play rotating among Godspell, Narnia, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Children from grades 2-12 are the performers, and adults serve as directors, producers, and build the stage, props, scenery, make-up, lighting, and sound.

In 2024, we produced Godspell, Jr. Take a look at the photos.

Our musical productions have involved over 50 performers and twice as many parish volunteers in a vibrant community-building experience
