Garden Shed

Henry Lee of Boy Scout Troop #641 completed his Eagle Scout project at St. Peter's. Henry is a Junior at Thomas Jefferson High School in Fairfax. He, leading others from his troop, moved and renovated an existing shed to support the St. Peter's Community Garden and Creation Care goals to REUSE! The project involved moving the old shed to its new location, replacing the floor and roof, adding a window, and painting inside and out. Henry collaborated with St. Peter's Buildings and Grounds, Garden, and Creation Care folks and made new friends! He was supported by his father, Rick Lee. This accomplishment will help the St. Peter’s Vegetable Garden Group in delivering fresh produce to Arlingtonians in need! THANK YOU, Henry and congratulations on your accomplishment!

Nature Trail

Teddy Totten, a Yorktown High School sophomore, led a troop of about 20 scouts to design and build a 100-yard nature trail that takes walkers around the St. Frances chapel by a notable Red Maple and the Wagner Chestnut tree. The construction of this trail is a key step in earning his Eagle Scout honor. Their work has blessed our community with a lasting contribution to creation care in Arlington.
