Surely the Lord is in this Place
Jacob runs into exile with a stone for a pillow and discovers heaven was with him all along. Where is the certain place you did not choose? I wonder what gates of heaven stand open over the ordinary, difficult ground of your life — if only you had eyes to behold them. Even here, God says: I am with you.
