About Taizé Prayer

Taizé is an ecumenical monastic community in France dedicated to peace and reconciliation among all people.

Taizé prayer is centered on simple repeated chants, silence, scripture, and candlelight. The songs are intentionally uncomplicated and meditative, allowing prayer to move gently from the mind into the heart. As words and melodies are repeated, worship becomes spacious, reflective, and deeply peaceful.

Held in the quiet intimacy of the Side Chapel, this service offers space to breathe, listen, pray, and rest in the presence of God.
