Choirs & Ensembles

Music at Saint Peter’s is something we share with one another.

Our choirs and ensembles lead worship, support congregational singing, and help shape the rhythm of our common prayer.

St. Peter’s Choir

Our primary adult choir sings regularly in worship, offering a rich and varied repertoire from across the choral tradition.

From Bach and Handel to Vaughan Williams and Copland, from Mozart and Fauré to contemporary voices like Daniel Gawthrop—and the work of our resident composer, James Jillson Selway—the choir’s music spans centuries of faith expressed in song.

With both volunteer singers and professional section leaders, the choir brings depth, beauty, and care to our shared song.

Bell Choir

There’s something quietly beautiful about handbells—how each person holds just a few notes, and together a whole song emerges.

Our bell choir comes together at different times throughout the year to prepare offerings for worship and special occasions. It’s music shaped by attention, teamwork, and a shared sense of joy.

If you’re drawn to this kind of making—part rhythm, part listening, part community—there is a place for you .

Rehearsals & Commitment

Rehearsal times vary by ensemble, and new singers are always welcome.

You don’t need to read music or have formal training—just a willingness to show up and sing.
