Saturday Evening Worship
Some weeks, Sunday morning just doesn’t work. Maybe you travel to work. Maybe your kids have games. Maybe you’re new to all this, and a smaller, quieter gathering feels like the right place to begin. Whatever brings you to a Saturday evening, you are welcome here.
Saturdays at 5:00 p.m.

What to Expect
Every Saturday at 5:00 p.m., a small congregation gathers in the Saint Peter's nave for Holy Eucharist. The service runs about an hour. The liturgy is the same ancient rite we celebrate on Sunday mornings — just quieter, more intimate, a little more unhurried. There is no Sunday School on Saturday evenings, but children are always welcome in worship.
Dress however you come. Arrive a few minutes early if it's your first time. Someone will be glad to help you find your place.

Who Comes on Saturday Evenings
You'll find a mix: longtime members who simply prefer the pace, young professionals whose weekends are full, families navigating busy Sunday schedules, and people who are just beginning to explore what faith might mean for them.
What they share is a willingness to show up — and a recognition that an hour on a Saturday evening can quietly change the shape of a week.

Looking for Taizé Prayer?
On select Saturday evenings, Saint Peter’s also offers Taizé prayer — a contemplative service of candlelight, silence, scripture, and sung prayer in the Taizé tradition.
