Saint Peter's has always been a community of imperfect people — that's been true since 1961 when our founders named us after a disciple who denied Jesus three times. We still claim that name proudly. We named ourselves after a disciple who denied Jesus three times — so we're comfortable with imperfect people. If you're returning to church after a long absence, or just curious, you'll find you're in good company.
Start with a Sunday morning. Park in the lot off North Glebe and let someone show you around.

Bringing children?
Kids are fully part of life here — not just tolerated, but genuinely welcomed. Sunday School runs September through June, nursery care is available, and children are always welcome in worship. Many families tell us it's the first place their kids actually wanted to come back to.
